Solid State Start Up Fundraiser

Dear Friends and Family,

I am asking for support and help with funding a creative retail project in the Pilsen neighborhood of Chicago. 

This is a business concept that I have been preparing for and working towards for the past five years. My preparations have included a careful search for the right space in the right location, and this Thanksgiving I signed a lease on storefront space on Ashland Avenue. I am excited and committed to actualizing this project and I am asking for your care and assistance.

The name of the project is Solid State. It will be a space where I will display and offer vintage American and Union made denim and leather goods for sale. I am hoping to bring a new and original retail option and experience to the area. Solid State will also partly be a workshop devoted to a custom shoemaking practice that I am currently working to develop. 

Your donations will help with cost of the first months' rent while I work on the design and refurbishment of the space.
