Campaign Story
My partner had a liver transplant in Feb 2019, after a two-month-long septic coma. After his transplant surgery and due to all the complications linked to his septic coma, he suffered brain damage (locked-in-syndrome) and remained tetraplegic and reliant on me alone for all his daily needs. I work full-time for a minimum wage and he gets 200 Euro per month disability payment. Taking care of all his needs is so very costly and every month I go deeper and deeper into debt, just in order to cover our rent and basic living expenses. Banks are threatening to block my bank account and if that happens, I will not have enough to buy food, let alone pay rent or anything else. I am completely burnt out, physically, emotionally, and financially. If someone could help me, I would be more than grateful. I am prepared to provide any kind of proof you might request. Please help me get on my feet and not risk having to move out of our rental apartment. I was always the one who just gave and gave and I no longer have anything to give and have to ask for help. Thanking you in advance from the bottom of my heart. Yours sincerely, Ivana
