My husband Specialist Alberto Diaz was severely wounded in a IED blast In Afghanistan resulting in a severe TBI that came along with PTSD, Chronic pain, Facial reconstruction, Rod replacing femur, and a number of other injuries. Since then our world has fell apart with no help from the military just a big push around on move here move there go here go there. It has completely drained us physically, mentally, and big time Financially. We were always on top of our situations and could cover surprises, Not this time we had to find and support care for our children for 6+ months, moved 7 times in 9 months, lived in hotels for weeks, in all this we have fell behind on our car payment by enough to scare me thinking we might lose our only way around to doctors daily. we are having a time even putting food on the table nightly. we have never been in this position with so much going on I feel as if I am losing my mind. My one person who I could talk to about this all and always had a different way of thinking was my grandmother and she was taken by the lord so unexpected last month. My husband and my children are my world and I hate seeing all of us suffer like this because of one day in Afghanistan.
