Sokaklarin Sesi – The salvation of stray dogs in Ankara, Turkey

Every day in Ankara, Turkey hundreds of dogs are left to the streets, to the dumpsters or to the forrest left to fend for their own without any means of feeding or protecting themselves. One at a time they are met with starvation, hunger, illness or injuries and die one by one without anyone protecting them or their rights.

I'm Erkan Sahin. And my life is dedicated to these animals. I spend 10 hours a day every single day feeding these lonely souls, taking them to the veterinary when they are in need solely by volunteers like you who help donate food and medical aid when needed. Its only donations through you that helps these dogs and cats keep warm in the extreme colds of the winter.

And just a few dollars, which doesnt make a big difference for everyday people, will make a huge difference for us.
