Hi all, With my dad losing the battle with liver disease in Nov 2016, there has been a shift of responsibility from dad (who used to work as a taxi driver) being the major breadwinner of the family; to myself and my two other siblings, whom are considering to further their undergraduate studies. My mother, who hasn’t worked for many years, now has to also work in a café part time.

Personal experience of how social workers have helped my family tide through the tough period when my dad was impacted with end-stage Liver disease (2016) has further inspired me to make a difference in someone's life journey.

It was a tough decision I have made to embark on a mid career switch to be a social worker. The fees for the masters in social work adds up to a steep amount of approximately $35,000..

I intend to devote myself entirely to my postgraduate study, and would eventually like to be able to jointly contribute to the quality of life of the patients/underprivileged individuals through personalized and holistic clinical skills.

I chanced upon this fund raising website and thought of giving it a shot. I will sincerely appreciate any help from you donors to help me achieve this.. thank you :)
