Social Missions Apps Solutions teaches marginalized middle school and high school age students how to empower one another through technology and social media. We help mold the futures of young people by exposing them to life skills development and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) education. 

 Each program participant will go through a six-week program that helps them learn life skills and expose participants to STEM education. Futures program participants will engage in three fundamental areas of study; 1) Character Development and 2) Mobile Application Design 3) Social Media Etiquette. Each member of the program will have access to a tablet device, a network of video tutors, virtual mentors, access to mobile application development platforms and innovative experienced educators. 

The Futures Program will aid participants in implementing innovative social media campaigns that help develop life skills in three primary roles prescribed for citizens in society; worker, family supporter and civic participant. This 21st century approach to mentorship/after school programming uses technology to create a living classroom, of which will allow educators to stay connected to youth even when they are hit with life’s toughest challenges.  

 Social Mission Apps is in need of finical support in order to pilot the Futures Program. We are requesting $4,000 for our start up cost. Donations will allow us to offer this program at no cost to deserving young people.
