Title: Crowdfunding for a loved one/friend/colleague/acquaintance's 30th Birthday gift.
Born in 1988, I'm a fan of the crown (in local/Asian context, one may call it '5 Match Sticks', 'Wu Gen Huo Chai', 五根火柴), this crown is none other than the 'non-profit' watchmaker ROLEX. The watch that introduced me to the world of horology is my first Rolex watch, a GMT-Master II (Ref. 16710) launched on my 1st birthday in 1989, that was handed down to me by my Dad.
In 2018, I will be celebrating my 30th year existence in this world. What a better way to celebrate my big 3-0 with the newly launch at BaselWorld 2018, GMT-Master II (Ref. 126710BLRO) in Oystersteel, with a Jubilee bracelet. If I have made an impact in your life, you are invited to take part in this funding exercise. Any amount is much appreciated.
