Soap shop

Thanks for stopping by my campaign page, let me run through it quickly. This campaign will support the opening of an official soap shop, business licensing, supplies, packaging etc for 100% Homemade Natual Bar Soaps.

I'm a homeschool mom of two little boogers age 9 and 10, between the guilt of not being able to contribute financially and the constant quest for knowledge on how to keep my family healthy and pollution free, somehow I ended up making soap. It wasn't just a wam bam project either, as I extensively researched the topic, processes, risks and benefits. I must say it was worth all the time and research, not to mention how much fun and creativity I get to enjoy while making sure my family is using a product that contains absolutely nothing harmful to their health.

The idea to benefit others with the same safe soap I make for my family came to light when I made soap baby shower favors for our pastors wife. Everyone loved them and asked if they could buy some after the shower so I began to consider producing soap. Since then I have invested in 35lb drums of coconut and olive oil, a 15lb soap mold (which produces 4 soap loaves, which each produces 16 bars of soap), a loaf cutter, a bar cutter, soap making supplies and numerous 100% natural and organic additives for fragrance and color. My soaps don't contain the beautiful yet not ethically sourced micas, instead I opt for plant matter or clays for coloring soaps. Currently I have dozens of soaps curing and ready for use.

My goal is to license a small business to continue producing soap and to start selling it to others. As I mentioned, I already have plenty of the supplies but can not financially afford the investment for the packaging, shipping, branding, advertising or business licensing. This would be such a blessing and dream come true. There are already many interested in buying my soaps locally plus there are places like Amazon's homemade goods section, Etsy and numerous other places that show great potential for selling soaps.

With some help, I'm ready to leap into this opportunity and I hope someday every house will have atleast one safer option for soap.
