A new way to support So.. what's the story?'s live events!

Hi, my name's Justine de Mierre and I'm a live performer working with storytelling, music, drama, improv and dance. As well as performing myself, I host open mics for music, spoken word, comedy and pretty much anything esle!

In the current climate live performance is in jeopardy so I'm going to be moving work online where I can, either with pre-recording material and sharing it, or livestreaming events that can go ahead, or solo performances.

A lot of my events are by donation or pay as you feel, so this page is to allow you to do that virtually! You can chuck some cash in during events, or any time you want to support my creative work!

If you donate something during an event I'll assume it's for that event, unless you leave a comment otherwise and then the amounts will be shared out in the usual way, which is:

Tapas 'n' Tales: Whatever goes in the hat/virtual hat is shared between myself and the featured artist to cover our costs

Busking sessions with Lady J: Whatever goes in the Big Busk Bottle/virtual hat gets shared equally at the end of the session between all the acts that have performed and stayed to the end of the session

Donations for solo performances or at any other time go towards my living expenses to continue my work.

It's a bit of an experiment, but hopefully it will allow me to keep working and holding events in some form or another during these challenging times - and give you access to great entertainment even if we can't be in the same physical space together.
