So Far So Good… So Far! (Round 1)

Our Story

We are the Freemans, a family of three - Husband, Wife and 2 yr old daughter. I have a job, no one is sick, we don't have medical bills, we are not losing our house... everything is "so far, so good".... so far. But in the last three years we have encountered almost every one of these issues listed above and that has resulted in us falling into debt we do not know how much longer we can maintain. Somehow we have pulled out of each individual crisis with the help of family and by the grace of God, but now we feel that we have to reach out to the community for help on this one.

I lost my job 2 weeks before our wedding in 2008 and since then, in this economy, I have struggled to maintain an income but have always done it, somehow. In 2010 I finally landed at a job I enjoy and it pays well, but with the amount of debt we have incurred, it is too little too late.

So, here is the situation. We have credit card debt on the order of a 5-digit number, and the first digit is not a 1... or a 2... and it might not even be a 3. It is embarrassing to give the exact amount. If we can get down to a 4-digit number, we will be very, very happy! So, after trying just about everything else, we are simply just "asking" for help from people out there to help build our bridge to the other side of this financial chasm, because the edge is getting closer and closer.
