So Damn Lucky Crew ’17: Ohio

SDL Crew, our cause for the Ohio concert is to raise funding for The Dane Foundation. Here is a message from Lowery Lockard of The Dane Foundation:

"The Dane Foundation provides services to individuals with physical and developmental disabilities. In 2016, the organization served more than 1,000 children and adults with a variety of disabilities (autism, cerebral palsy, spinal cord injury, Multiple Sclerosis, Muscular Dystrophy, etc). Services are provided by way of quality of life items that include items that are not available through insurance or food stamps, etc. These include toilet paper, paper towels, cleaning items, personal hygiene items like toothpaste, shampoo, etc. There is no charge to anyone for our services and the only requirement is that the individual have a documented physical or developmental disability. The organization is also committed to providing public awareness and acceptance activities related to understanding individuals with disabilities.

The organization is ALL VOLUNTEER, and throughout the year the organization has a variety of events to raise funds for these items."

95% of donated money goes to the causes The Dane Foundation supports.

There are so many more things this organization does, and we're going to share it with you! Every Tuesday and Thursday, on our Facebook Page, we will be presenting examples of how The Dane Foundation is making a difference in Ohio.
