Vladimir Pavlov, 37 y.o. from Bulgaria, with more than 20 years of experience in mountaineering and extreme snowboarding, he is one of the pioneers in the sport in Bulgaria. Snowboarding in the Alps, Dolomites, Pirin, Rila, Caucasus, Alborz, Pamir and the Himalayas, his eyes and dreams have always been pointed up, towards the white summits. Amongst many of his winter adventures and accomplishments, in March 2016 Vladimir climbed and snowboarded the highest peak of Middle East located in Iran - Mt. Damavand (5671m) and in July 2017 he made the first Bulgarian snowboard descent from above 7000m – from Peak Lenin 7134m.- North face in Pamir, Kyrgyzstan.
This autumn it is time for one of the highest mountains on our planet – Shishapangma, 8027m. or Manaslu 8163m. in the Himalayas, Tibet. Vladimir is aiming to become the first person in the world to snowboard from this summit and the first Bulgarian to descend riding from above 8000m altitude.
Behind all of his success and future plans stands the strong desire to prove that „impossible”is just a word and that humans are capable of going beyond their limits when it is done with full commitment, good will and of course – unconditional love. He also hopes to inspire and motivate many young people to go outdoors, to lead a healthy life and to never give up on their dreams and the meaningful life goals.
If you are willing to become part of this cause and success which will remain in history forever, please help Vladimir raising funds needed to support him in covering most of his expedition expenses. Any amount or support will be highly appreciated and for all involved and present in Sofia, BG will be organized an exclusive presentation of the expedition after the return. For the most generous ones, of course, there will be also a special treat at the end of the year.
It is time to make dreams come true!
THANK YOU! :)
