Smile! Wait… My equipment broke!

Hi everyone.

My name is Sandy Nagel.

I am a fulltime teacher at a high school in Johannesburg.

Four years ago, I bought a Nikon camera at a very low and special price from one of my colleagues. Through this I have found something that I am super passionate about and I use this as an additional form of income (I do charge very little though as I know I have another form of income).

My one camera lens broke 2 years ago so I had to buy a new one which was a struggle financially, but I paid the price as I know this is my passion.

Recently though, my camera has been giving me problems. I still use it, but the manual setting is broken and it’s the most important one for photography (in my opinion). There is no way I would be able to buy a new camera. I would like to expand my photography (business) but I need the right equipment and now I need a new camera.

I created this fundraiser in the hopes that I can buy a new camera / fix my current one and possibly buy some equipment that can improve my photography.
