Campaign Story
During the coronavirus pandemic unemployment rates have soared, leaving millions of families around the world in distress. With lack of access to medicine and healthcare services, single parents living alone with chronically-ill children have been impacted significantly.
With children at home and little to no sources of income, these parents are in need of funds to properly attend to their children's medical treatment plans. The aim of this fundraising campaign is to use the money raised at the end of each month to provide 15 mothers, with their smile boxes; A box consisting of pharmaceutical vouchers, basic sanitary products and a sweet treat. The project has been carried out in collaboration with the Kifisia town hall which has helped locate the families in need, in order to ensure the funds meet their purpose of providing support to the most vulnerable.
