Smile

Hi, my name is Kisha. I want to tell you a little of my story and ask for your help. I had my first child my senior year of high school, and started my life off with one foot in the hole financially. I completed college after having my second child, and now ,a mother of four, struggle pay to pay to make ends meet. I have many things to be thankful for. I have four beautiful, intelligent, and healthy children. I have a roof over my head, I have transportation to where I need to go, and I have some great family and friends.

In the past couple of years while taking care of everyone else, I let my own health needs fall off the wagon. I am a 27year nurse with rotting teeth. I currently have no dental insurance and very little spare cash to take care of my current dental circumstances. I have seen the dentist and had xrays and the final conclusion is my teeth all need extracted and replaced with dentures. I have contacted Affordable dentures and discovered that I can get a full set of dentures as cheap as $500!

The problem is I still have 20(+) teeth that need to be extracted and this is a minimum of $90 a tooth for basic extraction and as much as $240 for surgical extraction. I have a career where I am looked up to as a health advocate and frequently interact with patients and families, my current smile is nothing but imbarassing. Its humilating to smile , to talk with my childrens teachers, or to have my picture taken.

I give to my community everyday as Nurse working in a long term care facility. I care for my patients whole heartedly and give so much of myself everyday to better the lives of others. I thought I might ask for a helping hand to better mine and continue my patient care with a smile I'm not scared to share :)
