SMART GRILL: A Revolutionary Way To Grill

The world's first environment friendly "Smart Electric Grill".

I am Abbey Omisol an electrical engineer and a hobbyist. My passion is all about building things and applying my engineering expertise to come up with real life applications and solutions. Over the years, I developed several prototypes such as: 3D printer, Concept High-Efficiency Generator, Automated Hydroponics system, Smart meter, Wireless communication devices, etc. The common among these however, I stop after I successfully made them operational. Now, things are way different. Seeing the drastic effects of climate change, me and my wife wanted to make a difference.

Study shows that 50% of the world's wood extraction, is used to produce energy, mainly for cooking and heating, 17% of which is converted to charcoal. Charcoal grilling emits 8-11lbs of carbon, equivalent to a car running about 8 miles, not counting the process of making charcoal. Since we love grilling, and as we know, grilling takes a lot of preparation, time, attention, experience and resources. This sparks the idea of Smart Grill. We wanted to make grilling as easy as make, set and wait! While reducing the contributing factors of climate change.

We already spent considerable amount of time and resources to come up with our proof of concept. Our patent application has already been started, now we need your help. In order to make Smart Grill available for everyone, we need to revise it's design using a much more viable material for mass production and to start manufacturing the first batch of Smart Grill.
