S&M Survive & Thrive Fund

Sossity and Max are both working artists and activists who also hold down jobs in the non-profit world, or, at least, they did until just recently. Both were laid off within weeks of each other, and right as they received the amazing opportunity of a joint artist residency at the Sou'wester next month. Max is able to get unemployment, but Sossity isn't, and while they are both currently seeking jobs, they are asking for help to make the residency still happen, and to give Sossity just a little buffer for a months worth of expenses while they collectively get back on their feet.

At the residency, Sossity will be completing the final chapters of her memoir, and Max will be learning about screenwriting as they develop Homomentum the Musical into a movie. If that weren't enough, they are collectively writing songspells as a duo called Sparkle & truth, including titles intended for a children's album. In other words, one week in the woods on the edge of the ocean will create amazing opportunities for two artists and three projects. All money raised will be applied specifically to learning/development opportunities and living expenses.

All contributions welcome, including shares and well wishes. Times are tight all over, so they have no expectations, just a deep appreciation for the collective ability of community to weave nets for each other.
