Last year a loveable, sweet little boy called Bobby Colleran tragically lost his life. My good friend Jo and her family are devastated and feel Bobby’s loss every single day. 6 year old Bobby was Jo’s nephew. He had a wonderful personality and was much loved by everyone who met him.
Nothing in the world can prepare you for losing a child. Every parent, grandparent and family member can associate with the fear of losing a loved one, especially a young child. For Jo and her family this is a reality. Bobby was leaving school like any other 6 year old boy when he got tragically hit by a car whilst trying to cross the road.
Despite their grief, the family have been inspirational and are dedicated to raising as much funds as possible to put help improve safety awareness for roads and build crossings for all schools across the UK. The last eight months they have been doing lots of events to raise money for this great cause. All funds raised go towards improving road safety around schools.
Despite being terrified of heights, Jo and all her family will be doing a 15000 ft sky dive on 25th July 2015.
Jo’s target is to raise £500. Jo is an incredible person and a very close friend. To support her, we have set up this fundraising page and ask friends and families to please help Jo by donating. All proceeds will go direct to funding road safety for schools.
Please help Jo to reach her goal. Every single penny helps.
Thank you everyone.
Stacey, Jo, her family and Bobby.
Jo: you are incredibly brave and courageous. We love you and hope to support you in every way possible. Love Stacey and all your friends.
