Hi Everyone!

WHO, HOW AND WHY?

I have decided to give something back to those who have done so much for my family and loved ones in the past so i am going to be doing a skydive from 5000 feet on the 5th of april 2014!!

The Christie Hospital Manchester do some amazing work into the research and care of cancer patients and my grandad, uncle and dad ( who passed away at 52) were all treated and looked after here.

I am aiming to raise £250 both online and offline to help towards a new piece of equipment called the gamma scanner

HOW WILL MY DONATION HELP?

 It's a diagnostic CT and Gamma Camera and it will help patients with certain types of cancers and those we think could benefit from new targeted radionuclide therapies including Selective Internal Radiation Therapy, or SIRT for short . The new equipment will help radiologists visualise and monitor changes in a patient's cancer, and give each and every one of them the greatest chance of beating their disease.
