The Friends of Camperdown
The 'Friends of Camperdown' is a conservation support group for Camperdown Wildlife Centre. They asisst the centre in conservation and education awareness efforts by holding conservation days through the year. Money raised from the 'Friends' is put back into the conservation of various endagered species through donating to outside projects, or by contributing to the cost of building enclosures for endangered species such as Bali Stalings and Hyacinth Macaws. Animals housed in these enclosures are part of conservation breeding programmes for their species.
More about the Friends can be found on their Facebook Page Friends of Camperdown
