Sky Diamond Rescue

Help us get this rescue up & running ASAP. There are many animals in need & we would like to help them. We are starting an Equine & Canine Rescue & need your help. 

This will not only be a rescue but also an education center to teach people the proper care of horses & dogs. We will also offer Horse & Dog therapy sessions. We strongly believe in the use of animals for therapy. These sessions will be free to all first responders & their families, military service members & their families & those kids (special needs, low income, foster kids, etc) & families who don't have the ability to pay.

We will rescue those animals who are starved, abused or unwanted. Those animals in shelters (especially high kill) and auctions. They will be trained/retrained & adopted out to loving families. This was started when my Old Quarter Horse Gelding who was 31 yrs old, died this past March. I had him for over 29 yrs. (He is in the picture) He was a rescue when he was a yearling. It is in his honor I started to put this rescue together. The name will be Sky Diamond Rescue Center. His registered name was I'm A Sky Diamond.

Our facility will be run & managed by well qualified people & volunteers will help with daily chores. It will be located in the Triad Area of NC.

Help us get this dream up & running so we can save the lives of needy horses & dogs (which we will get in as surrenders, from high kill shelters & auctions). We WILL NOT put any animal to sleep unless it is highly recommended by our Vet & we have no other options.

Our staff will consist of an individual with a degree in Stable & Farm Management, a Teacher & a Wedding Planner, Horse Trainer & Dog Trainer, plus a number of knowledgeable volunteers.
