Cracked Skull Operation 4 Ash

UPDATE:
Medical-aid has agreed to cover most of the expense, and Ash's family covered the rest! So his parents asked us nicely to take this crowdfunding campaign down. We apologize for this sudden turn, we believe his doctors failed to fully inform *him* about his coverage, so there was a bit of a miscommunication. Thank you all so much for your unwavering support! Our cherished community member & friend, Ash, fell 3 stories down the middle of a spiral stairwell and sustained injuries to his leg, neck, and head. The fracture on his skull runs from his forehead, around his left eye, all the way down to his jaw (view attached x-ray of head injury), and when he eats, he can literally feel his head softly splitting in half with every chew. This operation is to stabilize the fracture by attaching both sides of his skull together, and will be a risky procedure. Please help us raise the funds needed for this vital operation!

We are incredibly grateful that he survived such a devastating & traumatic fall. We praise the universe for his epic resilience, the waitstaff who witnessed & adeptly handled the situation and called for help, the friends who stayed by his side as we awaited the ambulance, and all the medical professionals who helped him & us through the whole ordeal; from the emergency paramedics to all the teams of nurses & doctors who treated & cared for him.
