Tatay Romeo’s Fight Against Cancer

My father was diagnosed with a very rare and aggressive type of cancer which is malignant melanoma(skin cancer) January of 2019. It all started from a wound on his foot that never heals. He had a wound debridement June of 2018 but it still never healed totally. We first thought maybe it’s because he’s diabetic but when lumps started to grow in his thighs, the doctor decided to do a biopsy and apparently he has skin cancer. He started to undergo series of operations and radiotherapy year 2019. We were advised by the doctor that the only possible way to get rid of the cancer is to do immunotherapy as radiotherapy would only prevent/slow down the cancer cells from spreading. Immunotherapy costs 2million or more and we don’t have funds to sustain the sessions needed so we decided to bring him home and opted for natural medicine and strict diet. Although there’s improvement on his health, his wounds never healed and he’s getting more. His right foot and leg is so swollen, he couldn’t walk. The doctor recommended chemotherapy but few days after his first cycle this March, he experienced trouble in breathing as his lungs is filled with water. He was rushed to the hospital March 30 and was found out that the cancer already reached his lungs and he also has pneumonia. It’s also suspected that his heart may already be affected. Due to series of laboratories and operations, his health card has been exceeded. We didn’t actually expect that to be too soon. He still has to take antibiotics, laboratories, and they’re still draining the water from his lungs. He’s still closely monitored in the hospital.

I’m here humbly asking for your support as we have already exhausted our resources. Any amount will greatly appreciated. My father is the kindest and you can see in him that he wants to fight this. For a daughter, the pain of seeing our parents suffering and losing hope is unbearable. My father wants to live longer and I want him to still be able to watch his grandchildren grow.
