PhD Intercultural Studies + Teaching in Asia

My name is Timothy & it has been a privilege to be accepted into the PhD in Intercultural Studies program @ TEDS-TIU in Deerfield, Illinois. I have begun the 4-year residential program since Aug 2019, & have relocated from Singapore with my family (my wife & 4 young children).

Prior to my PhD studies, I was serving in full-time pastoral ministry for 11+ years, mainly in missions, Christian education & young people ministries. God-willing, our hope is to return to Singapore or Asia to teach (primarily in missiology, missions) in a local seminary training pastors & missionaries, or a missions leadership position in church or mission agency settings.

Our estimate, based on TEDS funding guidelines, is about S$6,635 a month for 4 years. We are also prayerfully seeking other sources of support, e.g. personal fundraising & scholarships. Would you prayerfully consider supporting us towards our goal?
