Sisters Templar Short Film

I am excited to announce that the Sisters Templar (FB/TW/IG @SistersTemplar) Short Film Campaign is now open! The cast & crew invite you to help us realize a dream to bring to life our unique fantasy story about five Sisters and their journey of survival, reincarnation and redemption.

I have taken the role of writer, director and producer of this film. This is my first ever original idea short film project and I post this with all humility to you in hopes to raise the funds necessary to produce this short film. I plan three shorts in the Sisters Templar franchise and to submit them to various Film Festivals and fortune willing, to Streaming services.

Sisters Templar: Episode I - The Becoming is the story about five medieval Sisters who are reincarnated throughout time to battle the Fallen King of Demons Asmodeus and save all of creation from plunging into eternal darkness.

My creative passion started when I was young with creating and drawing my own comic book characters all the way to becoming a Disney approved Darth Vader ANH cast member and trooping for charity with the 501st (SL-76227). I was both lucky and fortunate to have great friends to help me with my first trailer project: Star Wars: Vader - A Fan Film.

I like to personally give all my love and thanks to my wife Maria and my son, AJ who are supportive of me on this filmmakers journey.

How will the funds be used?

Pre-Production (Preparation)

• Costume development and design (our Sisters will have four different types of costumes)
  • US Army Soldier Uniform circa 2006
  • Nun Habits
  • Sisters Templar fighting habits
  • Knights Templar Armor and uniform
• Production insurance (location, cast, crew and equipment)
• Cast travel and accommodations

Production (Shooting of the Film)

• Cast fees and crew honoraria
• Equipment rental (camera, electrics, grips, sound, props etc.)
• Costumes, hair and makeup expenses
• Props
• Catering
• Location fees and permits
• Set construction
• Transportation and lodging expenses

Post-Production (Completing the Film)

• Editing, color timing, graphic design
• Sound design
• Composer and music rights fees
• Marketing, promotional and film festival expenses

Do you have the script written?

YES! Episode I is written with Episode II & III in development. In fact we have submitted it to several film festivals and already have received some recognition.

When do you plan to film Episode I?

Fall/Winter 2019! It takes a lot of planning, scheduling and creating even to create a short film. But with support, we will have this ready to distribute in early 2020.
