SIS Ha Long Math Quest Tournament

Singapore International School in Ha Long, Viet Nam, is seeking funds to help with hosting a mathematical event for young people on its campus. On April 24th, 2.020, in conjunction with the Mathematical Olympiads for Elementary and Middle School Students based in the United States, SIS Ha Long will sponsor its first ever Math Quest Tournament. This day long event is open to faculty and students throughout Quang Ninh Province and promises to be a truly enriching educational experience. We find ourselves, however, short of the the money that we would need to provide snacks, water, lunch, and dinner to our guests, as well as the stationary needed {pencils, erasers, etc.} to hold the event. If we don't receive assistance, the Math Quest Tournament will need to be called off. The hearts of all the educators involved would be broken, for the tournament is an opportunity for aspiring mathematicians in Viet Nam to test, as well as hone, their skills in a naturally rewarding tournament experience. All those who wish to sponsor us, if they would like, would be publicly acknowledged and receive a souvenir tournament t-shirt from SIS Ha Long. It is ardently hoped that there are people who see the value in investing in the mathematics education of some young people who are talented and who would one day be in a position to give back to the global society.
