Sir Gerard’s Heart Surgery Fund

Sir Gerard suffers from a combination of cardiovascular problems, primarily stemmed from an enlargement of the heart. Recently, he contracted nosocomial infection (i.e. Pulmonary Tuberculosis) while assisting his sister-in-law at the hospital, who unfortunately passed away. He experiences episodes of fainting due to decreased oxygen supply in the brain. He stopped working since he is not fit anymore, considering the passing out worsened his spinal problem due to falls.

He is a professional musician, a former military officer in Mindanao, and a very good family provider. His friends and relatives, PhilHealth, and social service can only do so much in extending financial help to ease the financial burdens of hospitalization. However, these are just band-aid solutions and prolonging the surgery just worsens his case.

In simple words, his heart's function at present is really bad.
