Single Mom & Veteran Needs Back Surgery

My name is Syraya and I am a single mom of three beautiful boys.  I am also a veteran of 11 years.  I am in dire need of back surgery due to a herniated disc in my lower back.  The pain that runs down my legs is almost too much to bear.  My current financial situation does not allow me to be able to take off of work for the period of time needed to have the surgery and recouperate without being paid.  I lost a full time job in June and I now work only part time as it is, so needless to say, my boys and I are already struggling and a convalescence of at least 6 weeks would be a disastrous level of burden on my family's already precarious situation.  I don't ever resort to asking others for money, as I believe that I must make my own way in life, but with the current state of my health, I must reach out to others for support.  Please know that anything you can donate on my families behalf is much appreciated!
