Single Father Legal Fee’s

Hello Everyone I am a single father of two young boys, the oldest is 12 and the youngest is 8. I had my first child with my girlfriend of 4.5 years and we just could not make our relationship work. So after we broke up she almost immediatly began dating others and soon became pregnant. She immediatly got married and began to deney me the oppertunity to see my son on a regular basis. Then she was caught in an act of fraud with the State of Utah. This is when is denied me to see my son at all! So I set up a mediation with the courts in the State of Utah. Upon this mediation she went absolutly bezerk! She began to yell and scream, punch her self in the face and yell and scream. Soon she became so unbelieiably irrate she was almost taken out in a straight jacket form the court house. After the situation in the court house I consulted a attorney on how to proceed. We discussed the options and costs on those options. I made the first installment on the legal fee's soon there after.

But I too moved on to another relationship. She and I soon became pregnant and she became dangerously ill. It turns out that she had an illness unknown to her named ITP. Where she could not coagulate her blood and any brusing or problems she could easily bleed to death and die. Therefore she could not work and was unable to suport her self. So I took on all medical costs, food, diapers, formula, etc. etc. Well this went on for years until our relationship ended due to financial problems. Well that level of financial costs put me into bankruptcy, and I was no longer able to make any payments to my attorney for my parential rights on my oldest child.

Now she has filed to terminate my parential rights on my oldest son therefore her husband could adopt my son. I have fought this case for over 4 years now and we have taken this case to the Utah State Appeliate Court. We have over turned a horriable federal statue for the first time in history! We have over turned another statue in the State of Utah defining different loopholes in what a "Father" is legially defined as. And now I actually have a law written in my name establishing exactly what a father has to do and the three different individual ways a single father establishes his rights. This type of legal action is not cheep at all. I have paid out close to $26,853.00. This is after child support has been deducted from my check and taxes. So I have really had to earn close to $50,000.00 in the four years this case has been going on. And after all this plus the down turn in the economy has completly tapped me out. I have lost my living situation, my car, and numerious other items. I have had to give up all personal luxery's such has hunting, fishing, and even dating. Me and my attorney have exhausted our resources on this case and the other party has since fired there past attorney. Probably because she did not win not even one single aspect of the case. And now have retained one of the top attorney's in the state to try and finnally win in Second District Court in Farmington.

So I am asking for your donations to help me afford my current attorney Kevin, not only to help me retain my legal rights but to keep his law office open! He has donated a lot of time to this case and can no longer continue with out a sizable retainer fee. I am estimating at least $10,000.00 more in fee's to even keep this case going.  Any thing you can do will help me fight having my oldest son taken from me.
