Single Dad Needs Help

My friend Pete is a single Dad who has dedicated the last 16 years to raising his son, Kevin. Kevin is now a straight-A high school student who plans to pursue a career in law or medicine.

Over the years Pete always put Kevin first and never hesitated to make any personal sacrifice to provide for his son. Pete raised Kevin alone with no family support network. Now Pete is battling several health problems, including kidney cancer and prostate cancer, and has to rely on the generosity of others. I am asking you to help Pete and Kevin.

Pete and Kevin have lived with me and my disabled son for several years but are now confronting the loss of this residence. Pete cannot work and needs financial assistance to pay for his own medical care and a new living arrangement for him and Kevin.

Kevin will be going to college in one year. Pete has never been able to set aside money for Kevin's education, and needs assistance to pay college expenses.
