Hello

I'm Charles and I am a singing teacher. What am i doing right now, asking you for your help? Thank you for taking the time first of all to read about that which is important to me and the people I teach.

Each week I see individuals transform into bigger, brighter versions of themselves. I love watching people express more freely and then being able to acknowledge how capable they really are, to becoming powerful, truthful and assertive. To voluntarily facing the world bravely in spite of everything they have been told to the contrary.

I never want to have a day go by, where someone hasn't found their voice, their love and themselves. That's why I created The Sensations of The Singing Voice . I learned a long time ago that when I found appropriate Sensations they would reenforce the steps that I was taking towards becoming a better singer and a better me.

It is now time to expand. I can no longer see so many people live a life without knowing what they are capable of doing. I have heard story after story of young people who were told that they should never sing or that they never would make it. Only to find that those young people had become older people who now want to disprove the neigh sayers.

My highest principle is to help as many people as I can, in the shortest period of time to do the most good possible.

I have begun holding workshops now so I can reach out to 10's of people not just 1 at a time. Although every voice is different, opening up the conversation about how every human having the right to sing and has the possibility of transformation is imperative.. This isn't just about the voice but about the whole person.

In providing funds you help in these ways:
1. A better environment in which to teach. For example a new window (the window right now let's in a breeze and needs to be double glazed). I have a massive facility where I can teach workshops but it needs a lot of renovation. I would love to acoustically treat the room make it similar to a community centre for budding vocalists.
2. Ongoing advertising funds to raise awareness of the workshops and also the individual classes. Which would be the most important thing to do right now to get more exposure.
3. I will start to hold free classes for Children in Schools to teach confidence and vocal health where there has been the influence of poor vocal health and emotional damage in ralation to their individual abilities. This would happen twice a month. My intention would be to go into businesses and charge them for similar services in order to provide the schools with free education.
4. Holding online classes based on the psychology of the voice which can be integrated into the students currant learning environment and methodologies . Helping more people around the world. This would then become an ongoing subscription service for which those that had finances could "opt in" but those with low income could still have access to the teaching.

5 Taking those that are underprivileged to the Opera or a similar concert a minimum of twice a year.
