"SINGAPORE SISTERS: Celebrating the Lives of Foreign Domestic Workers in Singapore"
100% of the profit from sales will go to H.O.M.E (Humanitarian Organisation for Migration Economics), read about them below..
This coffee-table book is a celebration in photographs recognising the hundreds of thousands of Foreign Domestic Workers who leave their home country to seek work as helpers in Singapore. It shines a spotlight on these exceptional women who carry out their job with dignity and pride each day.
Glimpse into the lives of 32 helpers working in Singapore. These images scratch the surface of their experiences. The interviews unveil their strength and sacrifice and also touches on the subject of their vulnerability in this role which employs hundreds of thousands of people across the world. This is a tribute to our Singapore Sisters, who often leave their own children behind to love and care for ours.
