"SINGAPORE SISTERS: Celebrating the Lives of Foreign Domestic Workers in Singapore"

This book is a celebration in photographs recognising the hundreds of thousands of Foreign Domestic Workers who leave their home country to seek work as helpers in Singapore. It shines a spotlight on these exceptional women who carry out their job with dignity and pride each day, with a smile on their faces. This is a tribute to our Singapore Sisters, who often leave their own children behind to love and care for ours.
Glimpse into the lives of 32 helpers working in Singapore. These images scratch the surface of their experiences. They represent some of the success stories where helpers and their employers truly respect each other. The interviews unveil their strength and sacrifice and also touches on the subject of their vulnerability in this role which employs hundreds of thousands of people across the world.
