Campaign Story
An 84yr old partially sighted woman from Bo'ness was robbed in her own home. She was robbed of jewellery and cash. She is well known in the town and has given much to our town and its children.
Our town motto is Sine Metu - Without Fear, and this lady should have been in her home living without fear!
Let's show that Bo'ness people care for our elderly! Unlike the scum that carried out this disgusting crime! Let us turn this into a positive story for the lady involved and a positive story for our town.
Please help me raise donations so we can at least give her back some of what was stolen.
Thanks Richard.

Update: Money handed over to lady involved!
Update posted by Richard Hannah at 11:13 amHi everyoneJust a short note to let you all know that I met up with the lady we were raising the funds for, last week. She was overwhelmed that so many people cared enough to donate to this page! I had the pleasure of meeting her, over a cup of. . . . .

Well done for setting this up Richard. Let's hope this is a comfort to the lady and let's her know that the majority of people are good in the world.

Little enough to compensate the lady. The money may not make a lot of difference to her but the fact folk care just might!

Another example of how wonderful our little town is. We look after our own. May is such a lovely lady and neighbour. A little from each of us goes a long way to help her through such a horrid experience. No amount of money will replace what was taken but the love and generosity from the people of Bo'ness can help show her we care. X
