SILVER SPRING SECONDARY SCHOOL

Silverspring Secondary is a community based school based in Kibera slums Nairobi. We offer affordable and holistic education to the children and youth ailing from Kibera slums. We also offer community sensitization programs to the Kibera community. Currently, due to the Covid 19 pandemic, we are offering support to the community in terms of food, water, sanitizers, community awareness and campaign on Covid 19. We seek for support from well-wishers and good Samaritans to come and join our course so that we are able to reach and support as many youth as possible to acquire education from within the Kibera slums and beyond. This is a difficult moment in time and with your support, we look forward to build the school infrastructures to suite the need of the students and teachers in line with the government directives and set standards on COVID-19 Mitigation based on what a learning institution should provide. The school needs support for renovation, purchase of desks, sits, hand washing equipment, masks and sanitizers to support the huge number of students (400 students) and teachers.
