Hi,

my name is Bruno Tagliasacchi Masia, full time drummer and educator, Sardinian native based in Denmark.

I recently graduated in Music Education at the Rhythmic Music Conservatory in Copenhagen and I have been presenting my master project "Silence in Music" throughout music academies and conservatories in Iceland, Italy, Spain, Norway and Finland, working with many different students and teachers in a very exciting learning environment.

This project is now having a broader interest overseas and I have been invited to present the same workshop at the Steinhardt University in New York, within the IMPACT Conference 2017 in the coming August.

The conference will bring together school, community arts, media, music educators and activists, musicians and artists, health professionals, university researchers, and industry together for a 3-day series of interactive sessions, performances, and hands-on workshops.

I am happily one of those actors and I am looking very much forward to work with international students from all over the world.

To me, participating at this conference means to broaden the knowledge of silence in to the world of music education, giving a new, fresh view about the importance of silence and its use as a strategic tool in performance, composition and improvisation.

Help me to take it a step further!

I am rising this campaign to get help to sustain the travel costs and accommodation in New York and even a small amount can make the difference.

As this is also an open campaign, feel free to decide how much you want to donate in order to get a special reward as a contribution of the advancement of my investigation and furtherance of this fascinating theory of silence in music.

Please visit my website brunotm.com for further information and news.

Your kindly support will make the difference, never doubt it.

Heartedly thank you,

Bruno
