Macho Man has had a very difficult year. His owner (since he was a kitten) died a violent death that he witnessed. Soon after he's been passed around between relatives, which has all been very confusing for him. He is 13 years old and his health is now as poor as a cat who's at least five years older. A vet told us he has hyperthyroidism, he is not digesting his food well, and he is basically skin and bones. He also pulls his hair out in tufts and is constantly hungry. He was very healthy before his owner died, so we're certain this is why his health has gone downhill. We (his extended family) are very worried about him and want to be able to give him a permanent, stable home for the rest of his years. We are not able to, though, without monetary help for his medical expenses, food and grooming needs. Please help this sweet cat have the stability and good health he deserves after all the tragedy and chaos he's had to endure.
