Shoulder Surgery

NZ$0.00raised of NZ$16,000.00 goal goal
Campaign Story
Having lived with a painful shoulder injury for the last 6 years, with the help of 3 different types of painkillers ( Tramadol, Brufen, and Paracodeine: 1600 mg per day) and being unable to return to the workforce, I finally convinced the doctors to refer me for a scan to find out what the problem was, instead of being told there was nothing wrong with my shoulder. Scan revealed I have a torn tendon, with a 5 cm separation, a bone spur, and bursitis, requiring surgery....the cost: $16,000.00, money I do not have and never will until I can return to work, which I can not do until my shoulder is fixed.
I have had enough of trying to survive on the meager Invalids benefit, and ending up living in a hostel, giving up my precious companion cat, my depression, and PTSD worsening, I have decided to take proactive steps to achieve my goal of getting my shoulder fixed, and return to living a life, working, and getting my self confidence and self worth back. I no longer want to just exist, breathing and walking, waiting to be buried.
