Shoulder operation

I am aiming to raise some funds toward an operation that is required on my shoulder. I damaged it in a crash while leading Adelaide Masters supersport pro qualifying at Mondello Park in March 2013. Up until I injured my shoulder I was capable week in week out of finishing in the top 3 in Irish supersport 600.

I won 5 races almost back to back but since the injury the force of braking on the bike is causing me to run wide / overshoot corners and gets worse as laps increase.

Wet races give me some relief as the force is not as severe hence the last race I won at Mondello in July 2014 was a wet race. The Injury cannot be fixed by training as I thought it could. I tried everything I could but Ive recently been told I need an operation.

The operation is called a subacromial decompression.. Basically my humerous ( arm bone ) is squeezing tendons at the top of my shoulder and requires a piece ground off it to allow clearance.

I have set up this page to try raise some funds toward my operation as I cannot afford it on my own.

I know before this injury I was capable of winning and I 100% believe if it can be fixed I am still competitive enough and have the same desire to win races and possibly progress to British level.

I do want to keep racing and am determined not to let this injury force me to stop.
