Shooting for the stars

I am currently heading to my final year of highschool and I have set my sights on my future. I hope to go into aviation after matric but due to my situation I cannot. In June of 2013 at the age of 13 I lost my mom after a 6 year battle with breast cancer and our family was left financially ruined. My father is a freelance paramedic and instructor. His line of work however barely manages to make ends meet every month for myself and my sister. Because of the tragic passing of my mother and the difficulty of providing for the family, I pushed aside the idea of ever getting to fly because the finances were out of the question. My mom told me that I must do what I love and work towards my dream and thats what I promised to do. I hope to make her proud and the funds would enable me to achieve my life long dream and passion.
