Shirt for Everyone

Not all of us are lucky enough to wear proper clothing everyday. Some may be wearing tattered shirts and some may even be shirtless. It is very unlikely that the condition of their shirts are able to provide warm during cold/rainy days. And thus we aimed to provide shirts and warmth to those in need, with a second purpose of inspiring and motivating them.

What will we be doing?

We will be launching a Social Enterprise whereby for every shirt bought by the customers, we will be donating 1 shirt to the beneficiary. With regards to the niche of the shirt designs, we will design the shirts with positive and inspiring quotes. So besides keeping the wearer warm, we hope that these little gestures will inspire the beneficiaries to never give up in life despite how tough the path may seem.

*****All in all, this Social Enterprise will be established with a goal of being self-reliance and consistently donate shirts (and greater variety of necessities such as school bags and food in future) rather than just being a one-time-off basis donation.*****

Short-term Goal (approx. 1 years):

We will be donating the shirts locally (Singapore) to the beneficiaries by working with various organisations before reaching out to the rural areas in overseas.

Long-term Goal (approx. 1 ~ 2.5 years):

We will be expanding our reach to the rural areas in overseas, such as Kenya and Africa. Furthermore, besides just donating shirts, we hope to donate more variety of necessities such as school bags, food etc.

Budget:

The crowdfunding will be allocated to building of website, but mainly in manufacturing the shirts in bulk to receive drastic discounts from the suppliers for the early phases of the Social Enterprise.

In Summary - 2 Purposes of the Social Enterprise:

First - Provide shirts to keep the beneficiaries warm.

Second - To motivate and inspire the beneficiaries to never give up.
