Shipping Container for a Music Center in Carcar

It is undeniable that music brings forth our underlying emotions. Bravo Music Center is willing to guide you as you discover your untapped talent and skills in this Musical Journey!

We have one small room for all the students, and we want to expand by building a music center in a shipping container. This will be divided into 4 cubicles to accommodate voice, piano, violin and ukulele/guitar students. We believe in a healthy teacher-student relationship will help growth and development rather than being in a group.

The center is founded by an amazing musician, teacher Kylie. She's a passionate, hard-working, dedicated and amazing person. She's a Human Resource graduate, but music is her passion. She went to Silliman University to take Advanced Certificate Degree in Voice, without any funds to enroll. But with her determination, she looked for scholarships. She joined the Chorister, Women Ensamble, Silliman Band, Ating Pamana Choir, and other gigs. After 2 years she graduated, and continue to teach music in Cebu.

One of the parents said, "I'd like to congratulate all the teachers for the job well done in training the children. Amazing! To God be the glory! At first, my daughter didn't have the confidence to speak in front of many people, much more to sing. But, by the grace of God, when she first enrolled at Bravo Music Center, I really saw the changes in her. Now, my daughter sings a lot in the church and at their school. This school is not just teaching music but is touching lives. Above all, Jesus' Name is lifted up here! This makes Bravo Music Center unique." To continue and have better learning of music in a small city in Carcar City, Cebu, we are asking for help to improve our facility.

The cost of a 20ft container is around $1500-2000. We contacted a local architect of how much would it cost for materials and labor. It was estimated around Php 120,000.00 or $2400.

We plan to finish the new facility before April, hoping we could use it in the summer music lessons.
