Shipan’s Lung Cancer Treatment

Shipan is a 36-year old from Bangladesh. He has been diagnosed with the adenocarcinoma of the lungs. He has been moved to Apollo Speciality Cancer Hospital in Chennai, India as there is no treatment available in Bangladesh. His family is unable to meet the cost of treating him and is in urgent need of funds to save his life.

He is married and has a three year old daughter. He lost his job nine months ago in the United Arab Emirates and had to move back to Bangladesh. In May 2019, his father had a stoke and is bedridden. Multiple misfortunes have fallen him and is in desperate need of funds for his treatment. Any contribution will go a long way in helping help him and his family to meet the medical expenses.

Update on Shipan's treatment

Hi,

Thank you so much for your contribution. We are very grateful for your support and prayers and want to give you an update on Shipan's condition.

Shipan is currently also suffering from an infection due to the presence of water in his lungs. This does not allow the doctors to treat the stage 4 metastasized cancer in his lungs till the infection is cured. Shipan has been advised by doctors to shift to the Tata Memorial Center (Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital & Research Centre) in Visakhapatnam India, where he will receive specialised treatment. He will be reaching Visakhapatnam on 29th January.

His medical expenses have exceeded US$11,500 and we are trying to raise as much funds as possible but time is running out. We need to send his family the funds for him to be able to continue receiving treatment.
