Due to the increasing size of my daughter's head,she underwent an operation to remove the water from her brain due to hydrocephalus. The operation was a success but 10hours post-operation she had a seizure that lasted for 15minutes, it caused some serious problem to her nervous system, she had to be transferred to PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit) to prevent more complications. It affected her breathing, she had to be intubated to survive the attack, she had infections and was unconscious for merely a day. Not only does my daughter have hydrocephalus but she also has Down Syndrome, so a trip to the ICU is not new to us, all our funds has been used for her medical expenses for her 7months of existence. The funds that will be raised will be used to pay her medical bill which is now $5,500 and still running cause she's still admitted to the ICU.
