Our project "SHIFT - We are working together for it" address young people aged between 18 and 30 years, with low income, unemployed or with high unemployment risk.
The project goal is to - raise awareness and civic involvement of youngsters, to change perception of their belonging community for a sustainable lifestyle and for importance of civic involvement - for a sustainable community; also to build a sustainable community of practice among young people (selected from vulnerable social and economic).
Main activities to be held will be working groups and public debate to identify major problems in the communities where young people live, awareness & informational seminars with participation of young people and representatives of local authority - about social and civic responsibility of every citizen in the community, and also to identify how the authorities can support future initiatives of youth practice community; weekly support groups and workshops - to develop skills like: critical thinking, empathy and nonviolent communication, social responsibility and models for civic community initiatives, for a sustainable development.
Through this project we want that at least three pilot projects for sustainable development of communities to be completed by participants.
