WE NEED YOUR HELP!

Rohingya, one of the world's most prosecuted minorities. Thousands of children, women and men being tortured, killed in the most hideous ways. Horrific accounts of rape and sexual assault against Rohingya women and girls are reported. In 2015, the Rohingyas were believed to have attempted the voyage by boat to neighbouring nations. Number of boats carrying thousands of Rohingya asylum seekers and migrants from Burma and Bangladesh have arrived in Thailand, Malaysia, and Indonesia. The three governments responded by pushing the boats back out to sea, leading to domestic and international condemnation and forcing them to reconsider these policies. In response to pressure, the foreign ministers of the three countries met in Kuala Lumpur on May 21, 2015. Malaysia and Indonesia agreed to permit boats to land, but only with the proviso that the international community provide humanitarian assistance and help resettle or repatriate all the passengers within one year.

Series of aggression took place and later in August 25, 2017, the Rohingyas have once again being attacked. Their houses were burned, leaving them have no option left except to evacuate their own land. They have shifted from Rakhine to Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh, where it allocated few refugee camps for the fleeing Rohingyas. However, the journey to Cox's Bazar is not a stone's throw distance. Most of them could not make it and died along the way to the camps.

At MyReF, we strongly believe everyone, despite of their backgrounds, should receive adequate treatment for them to develop the freedom of life entirely. The current situation faced by the Rohingya people is no longer racial or religion issue, it is grave breaches - mass killing of an ethnic, a HUMANITARIAN issue!

Therefore, as the main charity arm for Malaysia professional engineering body, MyReF has set a campaign called 'Shelter for Rohingya' (S4R). S4R is an initiative to provide as many shelters to the fleeing Refugees who are currently seeking for temporary bolt-holes to survive a better life at the refugees camp located in Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh.

We humbly seek your help contributing to our cause. The simplest way to help us is by kindly spread this to your family and friends. Let everyone know about this campaign . We really appreciate your kindness. Thank you so much!
