Shelter for abused Pitbulls

Several years ago I found an abandoned female pitbull on the streets of Sibiu, Romania. She was in a very bad shape, very skinny and afraid. Just from looking at her you could tell that she gave birth a lot. I aproached her and she started wiggling her tail very shy. She looked at me like asking for help. I took her home, gave her a good bath and food. It was the first time she felt loved in a long time. Sadly, the next day when I took her to the vet, the doctor said that she had multiple tumors and other health problems. Because she was so old she had to be put to sleep and that was when I knew I had to do something for her breed in her memory. Pitbulls are not well seen in Romania and there isn`t any pitbull specialized center so those dogs end up in "concentration camps" where they are killed as fast as possible. Help me be their voice.
