Campaign Story
My name is Ellie, I'm 23 years old and I will be shaving my head for a cure. On the 20th of June 2019, all of dreads will be cut off. I have done this charity event before in 2013 and raised $4k roughly, but that was during high school. I’ve upped my game and am aiming for a much larger donation. I’ve lost my grandfather in 2012 to cancer, and I’ve seen friends/family survive the fight with cancer. And also my other grandad is still putting up a strong defence against the dreadful emotional rollercoaster of cancer. I am raising for cancer reasearch and hope that you all can join me in this venture. My dreadlock children have become part of me and it is massive to cut them off. But it’s worth it.
