Share in my 4000 mile adventure

Last year I rode my bike 1800 miles and had the chance to see some amazing things across this great country. I rode from Pittsburgh to D.C. and back, I traveled acoss West Virginia and Ohio stopping at ancient ritual and burial sites, then continued on making my way to Michigan and all destinations laying therein. After all that travelling I was not sure I could do it again or If I even wanted to.
This year with the wanderlust renewed in my heart, I plan to travel even further going the distance of 4000 miles, part by bike and part by foot. I will leave from Detroit, Michigan on Cinco de Mayo making my way to Ohio, West Viginia and Pennsylvania. Once in Pennsylvania I will visit many remarkable sites across the Keystone state stopping to see family and friends as I make my way to New Jersey, where I will fulfill my best friends request of being the Best Man in his upcoming wedding. After that I will make my way to the Katahdin Mountains in Maine, hopefully by car. This will be the beginning of my Appalachian Trail adventure, hiking 2200 miles and passing through 14 states as I make it to Springer Mountain, Georgia. From the end of my Appalachian adventure I will start to make my way through Georgia and Florida to my end point in the Florida Keys.
I hope to share with you all the gritty details of my journey from start to finish through pictures and stories. I will be keeping a journal and sharing some of the finer and harder parts of travelling that I did not share last year. I think this journey will take about 6 - 8 months and I am raising this money for food and incidentals that may happen along the way.
