Help for Bedridden Elderly

My Mom is 77 years old, a widow and receives no government pension. She used to manage her own store in our neighborhood for almost 2 decades. She used to be full of energy especially during weekends when we buy lots of produce from the local market and have them re-packed for retail selling. She was able to support her bills while I work as a full time employee in the city.

She's been diagnosed with Hypertension and has been taking maintenance medicine everyday since then. Her uric acid and cholesterol levels are higher than normal rate. She slipped and had a bad fall last August. The orthopedic surgeon confirmed it was a hip bone fracture and would need an implant to support the neck of the hip bone. The implant would cost about $2500 excluding doctor's fee and hospital bill. I'm her sole caregiver. My employment status shifted from full-time to freelance since last year due to lungs disease and enlarged heart condition. The few remaining relatives we have were distant that's why a friend suggested I seek help by means of this campaign. As of this writing, she's bedridden and under home confinement as I try to raise the funds.
