After finally returning to Romania for the sixth time I am with an amazing group of volunteers in our penultimate week.  A group of qualified therapists volunteer in Romania providing input to children who have profound and multiple disabilities residing in an institution in Sibiu.  We have seen many changes as I am sure the next group of volunteers will throughout August and have seen developments year on year as the centre progresses. We want to enhance the lives of these incredible children increasing their engagement  opportunities and bring joy into every day.  The first project we are looking to fundraise towards is for two trampolines (one larger for the older children and the other for the younger and less physically able children).  Two years ago a link was set up to another centre where our children attend for a few hours a day across three months for additional support and input.  Observing the children's excitement when playing on the trampoline inspired us to fundraise towards having their own for daily input.  Alongside the fun trampolines can provide sensory input required by many to help them engage in other activities.
